Carry Respect, Not A Blade

Our Visions & Aims

On the 28th of January 2022 the Dix family changed forever when Joe was fatally stabbed. No one has the right to end some ones life. As a result the Dix family have been given their own life sentence- to live their lives without their son.

Mission:

Using the Joe Dix story to awaken peoples understanding of the dangers of Child Criminal Exploitation, knife crime and gang culture in the UK.

Aim:

Our interest is in ALL young people, helping them to understand the consequences of their actions, which will aid them to make better choices and live safer lives.

All children deserve to be safe. They should not be exploited by adults or be a victim of knife crime.

How:

The Foundation will help young people stay safe and make positive choices by thinking about the consequences of their actions by promoting awareness, talk, leaflets and website.

The early warning signs of child criminal exploitation will be promoted to adults. A telephone support helpline will operate for concerned parents/carers to speak to others who have similar experiences

Promote essential ‘How to stem a bleed’ first aid training to everyone and distribute bleed bag kits to areas for public use.
